My name is Julia Graham and I’m a Funeral Celebrant.  I provide a personal and tailored funeral giving the family the opportunity to grieve the loss of a loved one and at the same time, to celebrate the loved one’s life. 

Before qualifying as a celebrant I worked for many years as an accompanist at funerals in both churches and crematoria.  I also spent six months working as a Trainee Funeral Director which gave me a good insight to the whole funeral process.  In addition I have been required to arrange funerals myself for close friends and family members. 

My previous experience includes managing a training company, providing up-front training and leading an all-age choir. 

I aim to provide a safe and warm environment for a family, guide them through preparing the service, prepare a meaningful and personal eulogy, advise on elements such as poems, readings, music, prayers and hymns if required and finally look after the family on the day of the funeral itself.

I provide Celebrant-led services throughout the North East, primarily at the West Road, North Shields, Whitley Bay and Blyth Crematoria.
